Welcome to Raider Catholic, the Catholic Student Center at Texas Tech University, and St. Elizabeth Catholic University Parish in Lubbock, Texas. The Diocese of Lubbock, the Dominican Friars, and Raider Catholic are here for YOU and the all the students of Texas Tech University. Our goal is to help you grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ, whether you're new to the faith or a cradle Catholic.

We hope that you see Raider Catholic as a "home away from home" - a place where you can rest, study, build relationships, and deepen your faith. Please come by and introduce yourself to us, we're here every day of the week. Join us for Mass on Sundays and during the week or come to any of our events.

St. Elizabeth is a great community and a place of fun, faith, and love in Christ. To help you meet other students, we hold many different events at the beginning of each fall and spring semester and keep them going all year long. Raider Catholic hosts a Welcome Week each year and an  Encounter Retreat each Fall semester for incoming students. These are wonderful opportunities to become part of our community. Because of early Move In Days on campus this year, we will also have some online events during the Texas Tech Move In Week.

Raider Catholic also hosts events almost every day during the school year and we attend many Tech events, such as football games, movies, basketball games, plays, and more together.

St. Elizabeth is also a great place to experience the sacraments! There is a 5:00 PM Sunday student Mass during the school year (yes, you can sleep in and still attend Mass!) and there is weekly Exposition and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and the opportunity to celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation. There is no fee to participate in the majority of the Raider Catholic events and if you are ever unable to afford any event (such as the fee for the Encounter or Raider Awakening retreat), scholarships are available.
