The Discipleship Youth Retreat Team (DYRT) - and we pronounce it "dirt" - is a ministry that focuses on preparing and administering retreats for the youth of the Diocese of Lubbock and beyond in the preparation for the Confirmation of their Catholic faith. Our staffers receive leadership opportunities, spiritual growth, and friendships founded on a relationship with God. At retreats, the youth are able to see that love for God reflected among the staffers. They also learn about His love and their rich Catholic faith through talks, activities, skits, discussions, and reflections led by the staffers.
If you are interested in joining DYRT, meetings are 8 p.m. every Monday in the John Saleh Catholic Student Center located on Main St. and Ave. W.

We cannot wait to get to know you and to share with you our passion for Christ. There is no better feeling in the world than seeing the faces of the youth at a DYRT retreat and knowing that they are having a blast while learning about our faith.
