CSA Leadership (Social Chair) updated: 3/25/13
Who: Any Texas Tech Student that is a member of CSA
What: Plan and execute social events at least once a month such as TGIFs, game nights and holiday parties.
Plan end of year formal, including fundraising, ticket sales and decorations
Help get intramurals set up and inform people of upcoming games or practices. Help plan social events with other organizations, such as CSA/Knights dances.
Help plan Welcome Week events
Where: Locations: Catholic Student Center, Hanly Hall, Intramural fields and other venues
Essential skills to be a social chair:
Teamwork skills-able to work with co-chair and coordinate who will be responsible for what and work with other organizations as needed
Organization – Must plan social events for up to 75 people and have them run effectively
Delegation – Able to delegate responsibilities so everything gets done when it needs to
Advertising – Be willing and able to advertise events so people know and are excited for the event
Busiest times: Weekends of social events and April when planning formal

Who: Any Texas Tech Student that is a member of CSA
What: Assist with leaders of CSA sponsored religious related programs, Mass on Campus, Adoration, etc.
Organize liturgical ministers (Altar Servers, Ushers EMHCs, and Lectors) for Student Mass (Sunday 5:00pm)
Help train liturgical ministers
Organizing and overseeing small faith groups and other CSA religious programs as stated above.
Where: Locations: Catholic Student Center, St. Elizabeth's Chapel, Main Sanctuary, and Student Union Building
Essential skills to be a liturgical chair:
Teamwork skills-able to work with co-chair and coordinate who will be responsible for what
Open communications- be available and timely with responding to e-mail and taking action upon request
Mass email experience- understands Gmail and knows how to operate Google drive
Punctuality- must be on time to set up and distribute responsibilities to liturgical ministers and plan for the worst
Dedication- is available every Sunday to set up and clean up before and after mass.
Busiest times: Sunday -all day every week *Thursday (subject to change) meet with campus ministry chaplain to discuss issues and meet the needs of the community in our liturgical ministries at St. Elizabeth’s.
CSA Leadership (Service Chair) updated: 4/5/13
Who: Any Texas Tech Student that is a member of CSA
What: Plan and execute at least one service event per semester involving at least 10 CSA volunteers
Organize and cook about one Dollar Dinner per month to feed approximately 100 students
Where: Locations: Hanly Hall and other venues
Essential skills to be a social chair:
Teamwork skills- Able to work with co-chair and coordinate who will be responsible for what and work with other organizations as needed
Organization – Must plan service events and Dollar Dinner and have them run effectively
Communication skills – Able to delegate responsibilities and request food donations from other organizations and companies for Dollar Dinner
Advertising – Be willing and able to advertise events so people know and are excited for the event
Responsible- Must prepare for Dollar Dinners and service events in advance and take responsibility for purchasing and preparing food
Busiest times: Weekends of dollar dinners
