Catholic Student Association

The Catholic Student Association hosts a wide variety of activities in a wide variety of venues. We have social, spiritual, and service oriented events in addition to participating in many of the activities hosted by Texas Tech University. Please check the calendar to see what we have happening and how you can get involved.
Some of our more popular weekly events include Dinner and Rosary: a tasty, free meal followed by a rosary in a local family's home every Tuesday. On Thursday's, students gather at The Rock- an awesome night of praise and worship as well as a talk given by a fellow student. Don't miss our TGIF's: social events to kick off your weekend, like bowling, TTU sporting events, movies, and even a corn maze!
This is just the beginning of a long list of activities that will strengthen your faith and get you involved in a Catholic community of friends, all while having a blast!
We also have more events during the school year that are not on a weekly basis. Dollar Dinners one Sunday each month after the student Mass (yes, a full meal for only $1!), community service projects, intramural sports teams, holiday parties, a ski trip to Red River, Colorado, Adoration, Mass on Campus, and a formal at the end of the year!
The CSA also promotes events which help foster a Catholic implementation of social doctrine--ideas like the protection of all life from conception until natural death and the protection of other natural rights like property and liberty. A right to life can only be fully imagined if a person has the right to sustain his own life, a philosophy that manifests itself in our support of free market capitalism.
